Our manufacturing facility at Wetherby extends over 600,000 square feet and employs approximately 680 people. The Moores factory has been in transition over the past 5 years enabling us to become more efficient and improve our customer focus.

Changes:-

• Moving to a team-based structure and culture, focusing on the customer.
• Move to cellular manufacturing
• More customer focussed manufacturing systems producing kitchen by kitchen, instead of mass production
• Investment in training, including our own in-house NVQ programme
• Class leading safety record - RoSPA Commendation Award
• Technology - introduction of Telematics logistics tracking system
• £4.5 million factory extension
• State of the art vehicle delivery fleet and planning systems
• In-house spraying department ensuring all of our timber accessories are matched to the timber doors
• Investment in hi-tech machinery - PVC door press allows us to make a number of our wrapped doors in-house
