Adjusta Installation
1. Adjusta Hanging Brackets (for base units only):
This unique system has been developed in close collaboration in the field of ergonomics. A 500mm long channel is mounted vertically on the wall. Pre-drilled holes within this channel allow positioning of the base unit support bracket. Once located, units are secured to the wall using L-shaped brackets. Base units provide 25mm increments, (7 positions), giving flexibility to ensure that the kitchen most closely meets the needs of all users.
As an alternative to the Adjusta hanging system, base units can be supported on chrome legs, supplied in one length of 267mm that can be cut to length on site.

2. Wall units are height adjustable using pre-drilled holes in the 15mm MFC backs. Holes are spaced in increments of 40mm to adjust for end users.
3. Carcase ends, shelf and base are manufactured from high density, fine surface 15mm coreboard to BS EN 312 Type P2. All exposed edges are lipped to prevent moisture ingress.
4. All units are fitted with backs as standard.
5. Easy grab ‘D’ handles.
6. Fascia rail – allows for the fixing of remote lever taps in situations where the occupant has limited reach.
7. PVC moulded profile for safety.
8. Nylon injected moulded fittings eliminate the need for direct screwing into the chipboard, gives the unit extra rigidity and a long life.

Long lengths of worktop coupled with the strong worktop fixing brackets enable wheelchair users to work in the same comfort as they would at a table. Worktop support brackets are required for spans greater than 1200mm or for supporting worktops in corner situations. The pull-out work surface, set at a lower height than the worktop, provides extra flexibility for the user – pushed back into place after use, it doesn’t cause an obstruction in the kitchen.

All Adjusta base units feature a gently rounded PVC moulded profile ensuring protection of legs and feet of wheelchair users.

All metal sprung 180º opening concealed hinges allow full access to the unit and overcome the problem of damage to units as a result of doors being forced past their normal opening tolerance.

Metabox drawer system available. An anti-rotation peg a high strength concealed fitting prevents muntin rotation, ensuring smooth drawer action and a long maintenance-free life. Drawers also feature a built-in drawer stop for safety.
