Moore’s Furniture Group has been recognised with a Major Safety Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
On Tuesday the 14th of May 2013 delegates from Moores attended the Annual RoSPA Awards presentation at the Hilton Metropole Hotel Birmingham. The delegates were Richard Medlock, Safety Forum Member, Mark Hunter, Training and Development Coordinator, Steve Knight Health and Safety Manager and Kevin Bell HSEQ Manager.
The RoSPA Safety Awards have been recognising health and safety success since 1956. This key fixture in the health and safety calendar offers organisations a prime opportunity to prove their ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards: be part of the longest running and most highly respected occupational safety awards programme.
Entrants must be able to demonstrate a robust and high quality safety management system together with a minimum of four years’ consistently excellent or continuously improving health and safety performance.
Moores received our second consecutive President’s Award, this award recognises organisations that have achieved between 10 and 14 years of Gold standard or higher. Moores have achieved 12 years of Gold standard, which is a fantastic achievement in itself and justification to the hard work and effort applied by everyone.
Well done and thank you to everyone who contributed to making Moores a safer place to work.
