Moores Furniture Group is among the winners in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2014.
Moores received the third consecutive President’s Award which recognises organisations that have achieved between 10 and 14 years of Gold standard or higher.
In order to achieve this award, a company must have a record of zero accidents delivered over the year and Moores have achieved 13 years of Gold standard – a fantastic achievement in itself and justification for the hard work and effort applied by everyone at Moores.
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager said: “Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems such as Moores Furniture Group Ltd, contribute to raising the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
Tom Waltasaari, Moores Furniture Group’s Chief Executive said: “The only word I can use to express this recognition that Moores has received is outstanding. Therefore, everyone within the company deserves many congratulations and should be very proud of their success.”
