Here at Moores we are so passionate about supporting local charities & communities. We have recently worked with ‘Cultivating Mindfulness’, a charity that supports the wellbeing of young people aged 12-21. One of their recent projects is opening a new Wellbeing Centre in Glasgow, and we were keen to offer our support. The Wellbeing Centre offers accessible, relevant and age appropriate mindfulness and wellbeing programmes to meet the needs of young people aged 12-15 years, 16-18 years and 19-21 years. One of their main aims is for the centre to become an additional resource and support in the community to provide mindful awareness skills to help young people feel empowered to manage their own mental health and feel confident, kind and resilient to cope more skillfully with life.
Working collaboratively with two of our key partners – Barratt Homes West Scotland & Kaboodle, we supplied and installed a kitchen for the brand new Wellbeing Centre as a charitable donation.
With just a few finishing touches to complete, the team at Cultivating Mindfulness are delighted with the result.
Customer Quote: “It’s been a pleasure to work with such a professional team. I honestly can’t believe that’s it’s the same space now all the pipes are hidden too. It really is beautiful and we cannot wait for our volunteers and guests to start using and enjoying it.
Thanks again for the incredible teamwork of all three companies. We are so grateful for your amazing support and kindness. It’s a dream come true and will add so much more than we ever thought possible for our community services. “ – Julie Griffin, Chief Executive & Mindfulness Tutor at Cultivating Mindfulness
